Is that really me in the mirror? This goofy grin, like a brainless blonde handsome promoting a product on TV, I forced myself to skim the corner of my mouth, but it involuntarily rises again, whatever, is this the kind of person Elliott usually sees? I resisted the urge to spray some hairspray, which would have only made things worse, damn it, I always have a bad sense of proportion.
If it weren't for Elliott's accommodating and understanding nature, I would have been cut out of the suitor pool by now.
